Gentlemen...the scumbag has been FINALLY BANNED! Now, he's a psycho but he seems to have good parts and a good deal of business off of selling them so he's probably not gonna stop selling. Next step is to look for suspicious postings in the classifieds (similar behavior as in constant bumps and price lowering, WI origin, etc.). Thanks for all those who helped get this guy outta here!!!

@galetti-thank you for bringing attention to this guy. It sucks when you have a bad apple in the bunch, and thats all I'll say about that.
I did have a question for everybody, and its a little off topic. Im new to the site and forums all together, so when the term "BUMP" is brought up, Im lost. Would someone please give me a little info on the bump so I know wtf it means? lol

BUMP simply means that you are bumping your thread to the top of the listings page. Of course, the forum puts the newest threads on top or the ones most recently responded to. By posting "bump", you are simply saying that you still have the part you wish to sell and that you are bumping it to the top.

Don't abuse it though, use it once every two days or so. Two days of postings are usually seen on the first page.

I would just suggest, to anyone buying from someone on here, or anywhere on the net, to be very cautious. There is ALOT of feedback on TGO, of who, and who not to do any kind of business with.

These scumbags are preying more than ever now. I just cant believe how alot of people get taken by these con artists. BUYER BEWARE!!

Yawn when will people learn.. Why doesn't TGO and the other sites just IP ban him.. So he wouldn't be able to come back on any account. I thought this was over 5 months ago.. Apparently i was mistaken

 

Because it really is not that simple. There are many that think just an IP ban is all we need to do to solve the issue, so it's a common misconception. People in the IT field, or those who have a basic understanding of networks, know why it doesn't work that easy. I can tell you that such a solution would not have worked in this case.

I have confirmed enough that the two accounts are one and the same, and because the original account was banned, the second account is being banned.

When Buying and Selling in our Classifieds, or anywhere else online, there are risks. Both parties need to do some homework and outweigh if any risk is worth it. We can only provide members with some tools (iTrader and this Classifieds feedback forum) to help members make a better, informed, decision. We, staff, can only really act after the fact. This is why members need to use caution when dealing with any transactions online.

The user in question is still active, unbanned, on other sites mentioned above.

If anyone suspects anything suspicious, such as a previously banned member trying to get back into the system, we need to be informed. It's not always until the suspect gives out their name and address for payment or shipping quote, that it can be so apparent that the suspect has returned. That's when it's especially important for those in the community to not only let us know if the suspect is a previously banned member or has a bad transaction record, but to be informed to protect themselves as well as those in the community. That's why, in the end, it's up to you (the members) to be informed by doing homework and using caution.
