What should I do about this seller?
I purchased some hood blisters on the 13th and requested a tracking number be sent to me when he shipped them. He told me he would send them the next day after payment but I haven't had any contact or responses from him yet. What really bothers me is the fact that I purchased other items from people on here several days later and I have already received those items. Should I give this more time or go ahead and file a dispute with paypay or what? I don't want to be a pain or start a thread on someone if he just had some trouble and shipped it late or something but I getting concerned that it's not coming. I'm a newbie and he has been a member on here for several years so I don't want to be frowned upon for over reacting.

I think I'm going to file a complaint with paypal and hope that triggers a response from him. If I don't get the blisters or my money back soon I will post his information to warn everyone else from buying things from him. Thanks for the advice!

Here's an update! I finally got the items a few days ago but they were damaged pretty bad. I'm now waiting on UPS to investigate as supposedly it happened in transit. Some of the damage was clearly done while shipping but still the item was sold as (good as new) but was far from it before UPS got a hold of it. I'm also keeping my paypal complaint active as well hoping to just get my money back from someone (seller, paypal, or UPS) and be done with this.

Re: What should I do about this seller?
I just found this thread. I was the seller in question here. http://s244.photobucket.com/albums/g...ed%20blisters/ that is a link with pictures of the blisters I sold Tim in the condition that I shipped them. My wife packaged them (she works in a warehouse and does that as part of her job). Even after posting here that he was seaking repairations from UPS he left is claim in with paypal in the hope that I would pay for somebody else's mistake. I'm only posting now, because paypal sided with me and granted him no refund. I provided Tim my phone number at the begining of our dealing and he never called me. Also to clarify the delay in shipping was due to a death in the family and it only took me 3 days to ship the items I only forgot to send him the tracking number. I would like to warn other members against any dealings with this person if he asks to pay via paypal.

Re: What should I do about this seller?
I think I handled the situation very professionally and respected the seller by giving him the benefit of the doubt and not telling everyone who he was and advising others to avoid him. As a stated in my original post I only began questioning Will after I emailed him asking for a tracking number and never received a response although this site shows he had logged in the day of and after day after I sent the email. I only submitted a paypal dispute after I did not hear back from Will for over a week after I sent him the money through paypal. The deal was he would ship the item the next day and send me a tracking number after he sent them. I waited about a week before attempting to contact him and then still had no response. What was I suppose to do? He claims I had his phone number before all of this happened which he may have included on an email but I honestly never noticed it or saw it until after emails he sent after I filed the dispute. Maybe it was there and I just missed it. Either way I still don't believe I did anything wrong. With the paypal dispute it was originally filed as I didn't receive the item and yes that portion was resolved as I cooperated with paypal and verified that I have received the items. I say portion because I spoke with paypal and I am strongly considering filing a separate complaint against the seller as the hood blisters were stated to be "good as new" and they were not anywhere near that condition before they were damaged in shipping. Concerning the damage I believe the seller is at fault for the damage as the items were packaged very poorly with minimal bubble wrap. The 2 blisters were actually touching each other when I opened the package and they should not have been sent that way. It's pretty sad that I did nothing wrong yet Will advises others to stay away from me when I want to use paypal for transactions. The reason to use paypal is exactly for these type of issues to protect both sides. I wish Will would have shown me the same respect I showed him but I guess he felt the need to advise everyone against doing business with me. Considering all of this would have been avoided had he just emailed me the tracking number or responded to my email a week later I think that action is ridiculous. Here are a couple of pictures I took showing the damage from shipping which are obvious and then other areas that are either chipped or pealing which were clearly there before being shipped. I'm not sure if the photos on his link are old or just zoomed out far enough to hide the chips and peeling but the blisters he sent me do not look that nice in person. Remember the blisters were being listed and sold with the description of "good as new".
Well the pictures will have to come later as its late and I can't get them to download for some reason. I will figure it out and do my best to get them posted ASAP.

Re: What should I do about this seller?
your complaint about the condition of the bilisters before shipping is invalid. I sent you the pictures of them and provided my opinion on their condition. You then made the decission to purchase them. They were packaged and shipped properly. I never said I would ship them the next day. You waited till almost 8 pm to send payment so I didn't even notice it till the next evening. Once again I'm sorry this didn't go well, but it's nothing that I did. File the paper work with UPS and you will get your money back from them, since I bought the insurance out of my pocket. If you want to keep wasting your time filing claims with paypal go ahead it won't get either of us anywhere. I hope you listened to me and kept the packaging so you will get something from UPS. My gripe is that you sought repairation from the shipping company, but still felt it was alright to leave the claim against me and not inform me that you were going after the shipping company. Seems to me like your trying to get a double pay day, which most people would call sleazy. You also never responded to any of my communications till I made this post. I think that says enough about you. Best of luck getting the responsible party (UPS) to pay for the damages.

Re: What should I do about this seller?
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding but I was not going after a double pay day! The dispute with paypal was strictly because I have not received the item! After the item was finally received instead of just giving paypal the tracking information you filed a complaint against me. Think about it my dispute was STRICTLY A HAVE NOT RECEIVED ITEM dispute. I never disputed that I finally got the item and the only reason I couldnt drop my dispute was because YOU filed a claim against me. I contacted paypal and even told them I received the item but they told me because of the other claim they would have to investigate. Clearly with the tracking information and the fact that I verifed I have in fact received the items they would get this resolved. As far as I was concerned the paypal dispute was resolved after I received the items and it was justy a matter of time before they released the money to you. If I was fighting to win the paypal dispute saying that I never received the items I never would have emailed you back saying they were damaged. Use some common sense! I emailed you stating they were damaged and I filed a complaint with UPS after you informed me to do so. WHY WOULD I FIGHT THE PAYPAL DISPUTE AND THINK I COULD GET A DOUBLE PAY DAY WHEN I MADE IT CLEAR TO YOU AND UPS THAT I HAD THE ITEMS! I am truly sorry for the misunderstanding but it was never my intention to get a double pay day. I guess the reason I was so confused about your post on here was because a double pay day never crossed my mind as it just doesn't make sense. Please consider the facts and believe me when I say I tried to drop my dispute. If I was trying to pursue the money from paypal I would have elevated it to a claim as disputes are automatically dropped after so many days. Your accusation just doesn't make sense and its unfortunate that you feel compelled to advise others against doing business with me.
BTW I am not filing a complaint against you through paypal for the description of the blisters although I do feel they were not as described. I was very upset after seeing your post Saturday night and over reacted. At this point I'm hoping UPS will just come get these things and give me part of my money back so we both can be done with this.

Re: What should I do about this seller?
I agree with you that it didn't make sense for you to try and be doubly reimbursed for damage. My issue was that after recieving the damaged blisters you didn't recend the claim. I waited a few days and when you hadn't responded to me via e-mail, or through TGO I escilated the claim thinking that you were trying to screw me. I think the long and short of this is there were some issues on both our ends and we both felt like each was trying to take advantage of the other. While that wasn't the case and we both probably over reacted a little. I've sold thousands of dollars worth of parts on the forum and I wouldn't want to tarnish my reputation over 100 bucks. Please let me know whatever I have to do to help you get reparations from UPS.
