Is this original yellow? I dont care about the fact that its a sport coupe, but is it original yellow vert?

Car: 88 Sport convertible

Engine: 305TBI

Transmission: AUTO

Axle/Gears: 3.42 rear end

What does it say on the door? Almost looks like it says IROC-Z

Sports typically came in two tone with a gray stripe on the bottom part of the car

Yes there were only 1859 Sports Convertibles made in '88 according to all the info around.

Color looks good on it. Mine is Red wish it were a different color...will NOT repaint different

in 1988 GM made 922 yellow gold sport coupe and
sport coupe convertible,

1988

so yes the code u listed is for original yellow gold color

and the interior that came with yellow exterrior
was one of 3 colors black,light brown,gray
