84 matrix 3 power top vert pics

Here are some pics of my 84 z28 vert. It is the matrix 3 conversion with power top. Some people wanted some pics a while ago and I got around to it this weekend. I got some pics of the pump and rear of the car for comparison, this car isn't as straight backed on the rear fenders as other verts. The switch pic is for the top.
The car is being fixed up so it has a long way to go. I put in a 350 edelbrock this spring, the interior is almost done ( carpet and 1 seat left), then bodywork/paint and a new top and I'll post some new pics.
I couldn't figure out how to do more than one pic so I put them on car domain. Here is the link.

If anyone was wondering there is a leater boot that snaps over the top when it is down and the top tucks down a lot more than in the picture.

Thanks for the pics. I'd love to see pics of the hydraulic cylinder, how and where they are mounted. Thanks.

I think they are behind the rear speakers or in that area. I want to say they are attached to the plate (on the top) that comes down right behind the window, but I'm not sure. The area behind the rear panels has a frame built out. I also think the back seat might have been narrowed down. When I reupholstered the back seat it looked like the sides of the seat frame where cut, but maybe its normal.
I am in grad school right now and don't have a place for the car so I'm working on it when I am at my parents. Next time I'm back I'll get some more pics of how the top works.

Here is a pic of where the hydraulic cylinder connects to the top. The other end of the cylinder is located low behind the door. The top plate that the cylinder attaches to pivots on the bottom plate. The bar seen in front holds it in place.

I talked to my dad about the car and he said the dealer told him the company (matrix) used the frame and top from a mercedes 4?? sl. I'll have to do so pic hunting for mercedes to compare.
