so i saw this car on ebay. lists as a 1991 Z28.

it has: no badging on the rear bumper, Z28 hood, RS grill, Iroc sticker on the doors, and the 350TPI speedo (150mph).....

description doesn't say whether it's the old 305 TPI or a swap for the 350....i'm assuming it's still the 305, but why would he get the 150speedo. and it has the RS grill which dont make sense at all....someone got this thing all mixed up

wow someone must had really thought the RS grill looked better than the Z28 one or something....and i dont know why they would put the Iroc sticker on there. '91 didn't even make Irocs....

 

they probley wrecked the front end and got what ever used parts they found

Don't sweat it, man. Someone who doesn't know or care anything about the car pieced it together and dolled it up to sell. When I bought my '89, it had been dolled up to look like a 92. Hood scoops, emblems, GFX, wheels.

And be careful about bringing the speedo in as evidence for anything. The debate will never end as to what the higher mph speedo means or doesn't mean.
