problem with buying a used top is knowing if it will fit right...

when you go to a shop they will measure the width of your top and order it according to that measurement. there's 2 different size tops that are made for 3rd gen verts. the difference is like an inch or 2 inches can't remember which...

Thats one of the reasons I bought the entire frame assembly. Well, that and my frame was falling apart, and I didnt want to spend $800 to put a decent top on it.

Plus, this one is from an '89, and mine is an '89, so I should be all set.

The difference is.....

......from different years. But that is for the top material. The top frames will fit any year, so as long as the top is already installed on the frame there is no problem.

I bought a top and frame off of a wrecked 3rd gen in Buffalo, New York (the top was less than a year old) and it was an older model than my '92. 4 bolts and a little adjusting and it fit perfect.

An excellent purchase!
