Vert Tint Q

I got my side windows tinted 35% on my car, but my back plastic window is still clear. This has recently started bugging me (didn't care at first). I was told that you can't tint the rear window on verts, but on cardomain I found a few with rear tinted windows.

Does anyone know if the rear window can be tinted? If so, does it or will it scratch really easy when the tops down? Up here during the summer I can basically drive around for a month and a half strait with the top down.

Most likely they had the replacement top with a glass window.

My rear plastic window is tinted... You have to bring it to a trim shop. They take out the clear plastic and stitch in some new tinted plastic.

Yep. I asked the guy at TopsOnline about this and he said you could order the window made out of tinted plastic.

AWESOME!

I know you guys are in different areas, but anyone get harrassed for tinted sides? Up here all my friends get bothered and I seem to be left alone *knock on wood*. I want to see mine doesn't stick out very much simply because its a white car with black top and black side windows. Or maybe it does stick out? LOL

I've had 20% and 35% on 2 different cars and have never been hasseled at all.
