You can see some rust above the headlight on the hood. The paint is spider webbed on all of the fiberglass. The interior is ok there is a firebird steering wheel and a few rips on the seat. No biggie.

i got you all beat i paid 950 for my 89 RS vert !!!!!!, it needed work, but no rust, and 88K on the odometer...... After changing the carpets seats all the interrior to black, swapping in a t-5 and some z06 rims i feel a bit better, but plenty more to go. Get this the reason the previous owner sold it was because "the engine wont run" after i swapped out the fuel pump for one i had sitting around it fired right up... no problems !!! hahahahaha

Good luck! I've been in the hunt for about 2 years now and I'm still not done.

1991 Jersey Vert

Well sounds like I didn't do too bad. I found a 91' Vert in Jersey back in the summer. I've been doing a complete restore on it but only paid $1700 for the car. Amazingly I drove it from Jersey to NC with only one mishap. SOmewhere on I95 in norther NC, I suddenly went from minor annoying exhaust to STOCK CAR exhaust. Yep, it just (thump) and fell off. Not bad considering I dragged it for a 1/2 mile before I could pull over. Sounded awesome for the last 2 hours of the ride. I'll try to get a pic of it in the before and after state. Its still primer grey but the car is completely gutted and getting ready for paint. Also rebuilt the Engine and swapped the rear end and trany from my 87 Vert (I put a 2.43 and T56 in mine 87 Vert). Yeah, I know I'm addicted, I have two.... but oh well. If anyone is interested I have two sets of IROC rims from the two cars.

88 vert price

I paid a little over 6k for mine almost 4 years ago. Original motor/tranny with around 85k miles on it...but, freshly repainted, interior swapped to 4th gen and suspension totally reworked (lowered, new struts, sfc's, new wheels/tires)

I paid 2800.00 for my 89, all it needs were seats re-upholsterd and a new top, minor dents and dings, and a couple of hub cap covers..

Love the car, everything works 71xxx origional miles when i bought it.

Great car.
