has anyone ever tried...

apparently Year One makes convertible weatherstripping for our cars. i didn't know this until today when i was looking through their catalog looking for emblems for my IROC which i can't find for the life of me. but anyways, they have the stripping that seals the top to the window glass. pictured here:

has anyone tried Year One's aftermarket weather stripping? the piece i just showed above is only $55 per piece, and i am in GREAT NEED for this piece. i dont know how much longer i can wait for Hawk's to come out with those pieces, i need it VERY BADLY. i'm just hoping someone on here has tried Year One and has something good to say about it?!

As near as I can tell, Year One is pretty much a first class supplier; which is directly reflected in their prices. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them if I were you.

i used year one door and window weatherstrips on my 73 formula and found them to be "fair" quality. if its just a decent part you need i'd say ok. if you are looking for a real high quality piece i don't think this is it.
