Vert replacement carpeting...

Can anyone PLEASE tell me where I can buy replacement carpeting for my "92 Ro vert....all I can find is carpeting for the hatchbacks. Also is the floor pan in the front part of a vert the same as in the hatchback....I was thinking of just trimming the carpet myself under the back seat...I would appreciate any feed back on my carpeting dilemma.

The carpeting is the same front and rear for coupes and convertibles

so that should make your search a bit easier

I am interested in this too. Which carpet is the best? Is it possible to get it in one piece? I don't like the seam on the two piece.

You will have to make a few cuts in the carpet to get to fit in a convertible, but its nothing you will see once its in place and glued down.

as said before, the carpet pieces are the same for coupes and convertibles.

do not get carpet from Year One, their supplier sucks really bad. they have no warranty on the carpet after it is installed in your car i bought new carpet from them last year and it already started fading from grey to a teal color took a while to get a replacement, hopefully the new stuff doesn't go bad so fast, or i'll be REALLY pissed.

No carpet is a "direct" replacement. They all need slight modifications and cuts to fit. Nothing major. You just need to cut the holes for the seatbelt bolts, maybe the manual shifter, some extra bracing in the trunk and that's pretty much it.
The carpets usually come premolded but with no holes. That's up to the installer.

Hope this helps.

understand about that, just wondered if anyone had tried them or if they bought new carpet from someone they are happy with.

from comments Year One won't be my choice.

Forgot to mention that I bought carpet from Hawks but they screwed up the order and made me pay the restocking fee (a lot of money) on the wrong carpet they sent me. I think it's clear why I haven't bought anything from them since. But their carpet fits fine and the color match was good.

PM 'Jim85IROC'. He sells the ACS (better) carpet, good price and fast shipping. Finally got mine in a few weeks ago and it looks great.

The carpet from Classic Industries did require some minor cutting as described above, seatbelts and trim. It was pre-moldes with insulation already attached. Color and fit are excellent.

Give it a few months with the top down and it won't be such a good color match anymore.

The ACC carpet is notorious for fading.
