What looks better on a vert?

3inch Cowl or a SS hood?

I have a 3inch cowl now but I love the look of the SS hood also. (thanks to Chevy Kens vert)

I have a 4" cowl on my 90 and think it great. I just don't think it looks very good on a vert. So I voted SS.

2 in cowl or some sort of stock hood (IROC, Z28, anything).

Thats my opinion.

But between the 2, I say Cowl still.

I've always liked the iroc hoods with the blisters on the verts. But the SS is nice too. A low cowl (2") looks OK on a vert, but anything higher looks kinda tacky to me.

Excuse the POS looks of it now. Getting ready for paint soon. Did all the jambs

I think the 3inch cowl goes with the roll bar and 92 wing.

I need a SS hood to mock up and see which I like better dang it.

I forgot what your car looked like! In your case, it's a completely different story--go with the cowl hood. It definitely goes more with the 'theme' of your car--(which is *****-to-the-wall speed). The SS hood is more of a subtle look.
----------
And I've gotta say, your car looks mean as hell! I kinda like the multi-color, half-sanded, half-primered look. Looks tough. I wouldn't want to run into your car in a dark alley for sure!

I just bought a "Stinger" hood for mine! Looks great IMO. I love the SS, but it seems like there's alot of them out there and I like to be a little differernt.

Hey TPI383, how is that hi rise spoiler attached? Is it attached to the trunk lid or what? Anyway I think it looks good. Could you post some close up pics of it? And will your top rub on that roll cage or is the posts mounted away from where the top lays? If you could I would like to see some pics of that also? Thanks, your is going to be bad *** after its done.

wing is mounted to the deck lid as if stock. Cage is a nice fit with the top. no rubbing.

I did like the stock 91-92 hood I had but liked the cowl better.
