sfc's for the win

Got my Alston Racing sfc's installed this past weekend and....WOW

These should had been the very first thing I did to the car 5 yrs ago. They really made the ride a ton better! Also top-down solutions is a great place to do business with. They had them to my door in no time, and at a good price too.

Now I need to get new tires up front to really experience the whole effect of them

Yes, SFC's should be the first mod done to any 3rd or 4th gen.

If you don't have a wonderbar yet, I suggest getting one. Easy do-it-yourself installation with a dramatic change in the steering input. After that, perhaps a STB.

Enjoy

I did contemplate getting the wonder bar as well, but didn't know how much difference I'd feel with it. Do you have one on your car, and did it help much?

I have a stb, and I must say, the changes with it were minimal compared to the sfc's

Wonderbar, SFC, and STB, TPIS shocks and struts, 36mm front 24mm rear swaybars= NICE!!

Im also running Lakewood LCA's and adjustable panhard rod= More gooder!!

I run my car at BIR (Brainerd International Raceway) every year (when Im not deployed) road racing.

I had SFC's and a STB when I installed my wonderbar and noticed a difference. Especially with tight cornering and such. TDS offers one for around $40 IIRC, which is where I bought mine.

I had a wonderbar stock, but I got the TDS one when I got my SFC'S anyway so I didn't notice a difference. The difference in the 2 pieces are pretty noticeable though and it's shiny.
Anyway SFC'S and vert = good!

Well I would have everything you got sept for the lca's and panhard rod, if I get a wonder bar. The 36/24 bars came stock on the Z28 I might have to give TDS another ring here in a few days!

I dont think it did. Mine came with either a 30/32 front and a 19 rear. Its my understanding that the 1LE/WS6 cars came with the 36/24 combo. The new bars were much bigger than the ones I took off.

SFC's are the first mod to any thirdgen.

The wonder bar stiffens the steering response a little bit and prevents the steering box from ripping from the frame. I thought it was worth it.
