Vert pricing info?
Vert pricing info?
I am in the market to buy my first house so I think that my prodject vert is going to have to be sold as bad as I hate to I know I will look back and say that was a stupid move, anyways the vert is in good shape but needs to be painted and a new top put on it. It is a white camaro with red interior that has no tears or rips, engine and trans do very well, the only thing that I know is missing is the center part of the rear spoiler. I had a profesional body shop replace the driver side quarter as it had been in a wreck and I didn't want to bondo it up so I had it replaced. I don't have any pictures to show right now so I know it is going to be hard to price a car that you can't see but if I could get a rough ballpark figure I would greatly appreciate it.

The convertible market is very unstable right now, although prices are raising. For you car without pics, I would probably say around $3k, just because it needs a repaint. But if the interior and engine are in excellent condition, the price may increase slightly.

It is a auto with 305 tune port. I figured that everyone would know what my car is by my user name but, I didn't think it would hurt to tell the year and model just to be on the safe side

Yeah, some can't see the forest with all the trees in the way.
It sounds like a nice ride that needs some work.
Plusses so far - Iroc vert & 5.0L TPI
Minues so far - Needs paint & top
I'd also say $3K - $4K with great potential to be an awesome car. Two things that could still have a huge influence what you could get (both higher or lower) are interior condition and mileage. Also, the missing spoiler center piece will not be easy for a new owner to replace. You won't find it in any store that I've ever heard of. Most likely place to score one would probably be from a donor car (private or from a wrecker).

It is a really nice car with the exception of the top and paint. It had been setting in a garage for over ten years before I got it, the previous owner had been in a wreck that bent the quarter up so he parked it. I had a new GM quarter skin put on it and a bumper from a parts car that I had acquired. The interior is faded alittle but a friend of mine that runs a detail shop said with the proper preperation thered interior could be died back to look like new. I have yet to licences the car but, I have drove the wheels off of it around my small town and I am pleased with everything mechanical I had changed everyhting that should be changed after such a long storage. I really do appreciatte all of the input that you guys offer.

I honestly would look at Autotrader.com... look at what other people are asking similar car similar options...
I would think with what you stated $3000 to $4000 is about right for this time of year, if you can wait until Spring (around March or April ) then I would think it should increase by as much as $1000 to $1500 as they are easier to sell that time of year. Most people are looking for a Truck in the Fall...
