. . . there are so many post on the engine board that they quickly fall on down the list.
So - I ask my fellow vert lovers if they can give me a hand with an issue that is DRIVING ME CRAZY.

What is the timing set at with the EST wire disconnected? What do you have the plug gap set at???
it could be the rear binding up. I had that issue when there was too much play in the gears..... just a thought.

Have you checked the injectors? I just had the injectors replaced on mine and it runs 100X better. I did have the bucking issue at low rpm's. The car would idle rough when warm. It finally died when my brother was driving it. It would start but didn't have any power.
Of course I paid more to have the injectors replaced than the motor is probably worth...

i've had the same problem for years now. i've been chasing a ghost as it keeps disappearing whenever i look to investigate it and re-appears whenever you don't want it to (ie when ppl are in the car). so i feel your frustration dude.
i have most of the same parts replaced including my injectors (before the problem occurred). so i am not sure if they're the problem. now having said that, i recently put lucas injector cleaner in it and its ran w/o incident since. not sure if that had any effect or not. only time will tell.
also note that i had a similar problem (plus other symptoms) with a 3.1 corsica many years ago. it ended up being a bad computer. i never would have guessed. shrug.

I'd be looking at the injecors too. Also while I'm at it, I might replace the O2 sensor. If it's never been replaced, it might be worthwhile.
