I hope this link works, if not go to ebay and look at 1991 convertibles, less than 12K original miles..

The level of desire I have to own this car is too large for words. That's my car's clone! Except with a lot less miles...without looking at the RPO sheet, it looks like everything on that car is exactly the way my car is.

By the time my car looks that good I'll have WAY more than $10,900 into it, and it'll never have 12k on it again

Not impressed. I like Nick's car better.

I bet that car has all kinds of mechanical problems, too.

I dont know they kinda look original to me. It's hard to tell from the angles of the pictures to be sure, but they sure look like there are 8 seperate tubes rather than 4 like on the SLP runners.

Man I don't know, I sure would like to have only 12k miles on my car again. I remember when I first got it it had just over 32k on it. I also wish mine had a perfect body on it like this one. Mine has door dings in it from being a DD for a few years, and the clear coat is just starting to peel off around the caps where the top was cut off,

That is one nice ride! I do always doubt absurdly low mileage cars though.

optional fog lights? very, very rare leather? statements like that kind of help me beleive the miles as anybody bothering to roll back an odo would likely know more about the car.

Re: If you really really wanted that Camaro convertible, here it is!

You would know the difference by looking at it if someone rolled back the odometer (a drastic roll back anyway). With 12K miles the suspension parts will still look almost brand new with the stickers still in tact and all that crap.

Looks like they're siameased to me.. maybe it's just a crappy camera making them look blurred togather..

Re: If you really really wanted that Camaro convertible, here it is!

I believe the miles simply because the driver's seat looks so good, but I am confused by the lack of switches on the console. Mine has a tonneau release button and two power window switched, this has only two total! I need to be educated.

I'd like to get my hands on the rear sail panels, those are the best looking I've seen.

Well crap maybe I was wrong, it doesn't have ALL the options mine does. It looks like this car has no power tonneu release. If it were like mine (and most others really) it would have that 3rd button in the middle for the release switch.

And I've never seen those sail panels before. Mine are a little different. The arm rests have a black plastic cover, and I feel dumb for not remembering this but I don't remember if mine are leather covered or just partially leather and partially carpeted. It's been about a month since I saw my car so I can't remember.

Re: If you really really wanted that Camaro convertible, here it is!

I never really cared all that much about miles on a vehicle, most of what will break I like to replace/repair as preventative maint. anyway. Personally, I would worry more about a car that has spent as much time sitting as that car has, seals dry out and rot, suspension starts to sag, and I doubt the engine was properly primed after sitting for 9 months in a garage for the last 17 years, I wonder what the compression is like on the engine? Even with that car being brand new, I would probably replace half the basic wear items just because.

Anyway, VERY nice car, but for my $11k I would want something that is better than stock, for that much money I expect something that I couldn't have bought 17 years ago for the same price.

Re: If you really really wanted that Camaro convertible, here it is!

I saw another 91 on ebay that had those same sail panels and I really like them. I know they made lots of changes half way through 91 so maybe they were on late 91 and 92.

The toneau button is on the drivers sail pannel, which by the way look like that on some verts. but a couple of the changes they made in mid 91. ALso note the cargo lights installed on the sail pannels. I'm gonna install those on mine (early 91).
