Replacement Bow#1 and Header Garnishes are avaialble
If you do a search you will find that I was going to make the Header and the Bow#1 for my 1989. I contacted Bruce Hawkins, and apparently he has been working on the Header pieces for the past few years. As of now he apparently has the Header pieces ready for sale

He is working on the 1987 & 1988 Bow #1 Garnish, and the 1990-1992 Garnish, I am sending him my 1989 Garnish for a template.
It is not worth it to me to compete with him at this point, nonetheless I am disappointed as I wanted to get into some of these parts...
Oh well.

For that price I wonder how many he will actually sell?

I am buying one...
Keep in mind the original Windshield Header panel when new sold for $173 in 1992 and $192 back in 1995
$145 sounds like a great deal if you ask me...

149 dollars +35-50 dollars for shipping. So your looking at close to 200 dollars for a piece of plastic.Granted thats close to what you said they cost back in the day but IMO thats pretty steep.Mine is cracked like everyones elses but for 200 bucks Ill live with the cracks for now.Nice to see that they are available. Now if/when the #1 bow garnish trim pieces become available I might get one of those since I currently dont have one on my vert

$149 is a pretty fair price since there is probably a lot of up front cost on this low volume part. Mine is cracked at the left visor anchor but it is not bad enough to replace yet. Maybe the price will come down by the time I really need it. Glad they are at least available now.

try using a soldering gun on the back side. I have had good luck doing that. Use another small piece of the same type of material like using a rod welder.

I'm glad to see the windshield piece is available, because mine is cracked over the visor, but I what I really need is the piece that it meets up with on the top itself. One of the "wings" over the driver door window is broken off completely. I think the $145 isn"t that bad of a price, especially for the fact no else has them...

And thanks for the heads-up, John. Mine is cracked, too, of course on my '92 TA.

Oh wow, thanks a lot man! The one I got on mine is cracked and I've been wondering where on earth i'll find another. Kinda funny to hear others have this problem too. Little expensive though, gonna have to wait while I fix my Bronco ><

So, any news on the #1 bow garnish yet? I'll buy the first one he makes!
