I haven't found one on the whole site? Please tell me where if you see one. Curious how the high rise spoiler incorprates with the side spoilers on a vert.

anymore info on that one? Looks good. I like the fact you dont have to mod the stock side caps. I wonder if someone massaged a stock hi rise or aftermarket one.

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

Don't know who's car it is, I took the picture at a car show in Ontario last June. if I were to guess, I would say it looks like someone bought a stock spoiler and modified it to mate with the existing convertible quarter panel caps so that they didn't have to touch them. Other than that, I don't know anything about it.

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

I wonder what happens when you open the trunk on the above pic, or can you?
Is the spoiler fastened only by the two middle uprights leaving the outside uprights loose and weak? It appears as though if they were fastened as well, the trunk would be stuck closed.

The red car above is nicely molded around the fender trim allowing the entire spoiler to be fastened to the trunk and functional.

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

huuu? they both would be mounted the same. The black car looks like it could be mounted better. the outside ends of a hi rise have bolts on the verry outer edge of the decklid.

that red one prob. had them removed when modded like it is.
I'll have to take pictures because mine isnt on my new vert yet.

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

To me, the pic of the black car looks more like the outside wings come down on the fender trim rather than the deck lid.

Can't be much left there to fasten to the deck lid. Just an observation.

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

Off topic but it looks like it's been in a wreck. The front end has some bad damage.

even on my 92Z part of the hi rise sits over the edge just like when put on a vert.

Someone wanted to see what one would look like without the center posts so I took em out and fiberglassed em in.

anyways you can see in the picture how close to the edge it actually;y mounts

Re: vert with high rise spoiler?

Thanks for the pics. I'm surprised how little is needed to fasten it to the deck. As long as the wing doesn't do like wings do . . . fly away.

PS; Looks good without the two center supports.
