leaky and drafty
Hi guys, I have a new toy here in England and I have attached some photo's of my top that I'm sure needs some serious adjustments. What is not clear in the first photo is that the pin is too far back from its locating hole, the rest you can see for yourself and please note that the second picture showing the gap is on both sides of the vehicle. I have read as many threads on here as possible concerning adjustments but I still need some advise, especially as my chances of seeing another one over here are unlikely. Thanks.

Re: leaky and drafty
if im not mistaken the front pins must drop in first then the resr pin thats how top is tightened when in up position......
as far as the sides looks like you may need a new top.....
try to "move/slide " top material on frame a small amount..see if it helps for now
any ouestions you can email me ..claudioalonso82@yahoo.com

Thanks for replying.
Unfortunately the car has had a new top put on recently by the previous owner, and at the moment I cannot afford a new one plus fitting. I'll just have to have lots of towels ready!!

Re: leaky and drafty
Thank you, I assume the pin alignment is done by the upstop, but do you think the gaps down the sides are because the top is too small?
Thanks

Re: leaky and drafty
If possible can someone please post a picture/diagram of the seals in the area of the rear quarter to rear of side window. I think all the seals are there, the bow 5 seal, door jamb seal and side window seals, but between the bow where the side window seal is attached and the end of the bow 5 seal there is a gap. Reference the second picture above to see what I mean.
Thanks
