All you vert guys with subframe connectors please post pics and what kind you bought. I have heard that some of you have installed two sets at once which Is what I will probably do. Please post pics and what you guys think fits and works the best. The crack in my windshield is due to body flex and I can hear it grinding and popping whenever I play with it on my curvy road to my house. It must be fixed since I am not going to buy a windshield every month. Thanks in advance guys.

Re: subframe pictures
I just got the Alston Racing connectors installed on Friday. It's like driving a different car, no more creaking when I go down my driveway or over sidewalk ramps.
I had a hell of a time getting them installed. Took them to one body shop, they called me back an hour later and basically told me to come pick the car up; they were not interested in doing the work. Took them to another body shop, they did the work, but claimed the cat converter had to be removed. I was not crazy about it, but I told them to go ahead. I'll probably try and replace it soon, but for now it's gone. Anybody else had this issue with the Alston's?
Here is a lousy picture I took yesterday. It's the best I have, so it will have to do.

i've got two sets. was supposed to install them this weekend.... but somehow in replacing my valve cover gaskets, plugs and plug wires my car won't start and made a loud metalic bang sound.... so i'll be tearing into to it again figureing that out instead of insalling my subbies.

Re: subframe pictures
Show me pics of your set-up. My car flexes so bad I cracked my windshield. I fixed the suspension this summer with all red sway bar bushings, shocks and struts, control arms, panhard bar, etc and now IT HANDLES!!! but it also cracks windshields and before I get a new one I got to fix the flexing problem. Some of the guys got two sets installed which is what I want to do but I need to know what sets fit and what sets will not fit. I have UMIs welded on my 90 t-top iroc and they are great. I put the floor jack under them and jack the car up by them.

Re: subframe pictures
I installed the Alston's connectors in my garage while the car was standing on the jack and candles, nothing hars. It took my friend & I about 1 hour 1/2 to bolt them without any major issue! After, I went to my friends shop to have them welded. Now feels like day and night compared to factory driving. But if you do any major engine modification and increase your torque significantely, you can surely add the Spohn connectors for a complete frame reinforcement. I will add them this coming winter, and if you do so, order them bared metal because you will have to weld them all along the perimeter so basically, the money invested in powder coating is a waste in my opinion, just paint them on place after the welding process...
Just to let you know, Spohn performance drop their price on black friday and during Christmas time too!

Added Sub Frame Connectors [SFC]
I purchased the SFC and a Wonder Bar from Lon at Top-Down Solutions www.top-downsolutions.com 626 369 0040 and they are awesome.
I had Certified Performance at 2900 Woodson 314 423 1663 Weld them in and throw on the Wonder Bar while they had it on the lift.

and it made a HUGE difference!

Guys where is the best location to install these sfc? If you were doing in in your home garage did you use ramps etc. Or is it better to go to a local shop?

Re: subframe pictures
Go to a muffler shop or a shop where the car is resting on its wheels and not on the swing arms positioned under the frame. The car needs the weight on the wheels for the SFC to be at there best. If the car is at home and you use 4 car ramps and have the ramps under each wheel then you are good there also as long as the weight is on the wheels.
