Tonneau photos needed
I'm having trouble trying to figure out this assembly and how it is suppose to look. Does anyone have any photos to send? I have a 87 vert and specifically looking for the latch assembly to open the top with the pin. Mine didn't have a cable release but a single bar and spring mechanism. Any help would be great. Post here or send to my email: reen1164@aol.com
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

Re: Tonneau photos needed
The earlier style rod setup uses 2 metal rods to release the convertible top.

Yes, that's what I have but not installed to tonneau lid. Looking for a photo to show me what its suppose to look like so I can install. I have all the hardware I believe. Thanks!

The rod from the slider attaches to one side of the pivot.the longer rod attaches to the other side of the pivot and then to the lever arm in the middle of the tonneau.I have one on a tonneau but it's buried away in my shed

Thanks for getting back to me, I think I understand but I'm the type that needs to see it as I have the pivot you are talking about but its not mounted. Would like to see if anyone has a photo of it installed and all set up. I don't propose you dig it out of the shed, but if you can snap a pic it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the photo and its a great help for me! Now I need to find the white lil rod clips that holds the rod to the release lever. I'm hoping Auto Zone or Advanced has something like that.

Interesting, mine are right on the tonneau itself. Why I'm so confused right now. What year is the car you sent me a pic of?

1987...I'm sure the solenoids are all in the same spot no matter what the year is.Can you post a picture of your solenoids?

At work now so I can't. Later I can. I found someone with the solenoids installed where mine are too but didn't have the top latch mechanism attached. I was hoping to see a pic of someone with the same setup.
