Hi this is my first post. I wan to replace the body on my rusty 88 Iroc convertible. Will fenders, bumpers, etc swap to a 1989 firebird. thanks

 

Yes however you will have to have the headlight set for the bird and doors.

Actually, if you park a Firebird next to a Camaro and stand back a few feet, all the external sheetmetal aside from the roof, door skins, and decklid are completely different.

If a person is extra trailer trashy, the front clip will bolt onto both cars, so you can put the doors forward from a Camaro on a Firebird, but it generally looks like something created in a Special Education Shop Class.

It's not difficult to find a junk thirdgen shell without serious body damage or rust. If it were me, I'd keep looking for a better donor that will match what you've got.

Am I going crazy? It's only the front you can swap. The rear body is either camaro or firebird only due to the fenders/taillights.
