Not sure about the size, but the fourth ones look fairly close to the OEM pieces from what I've seen.

 

I've actually considered using some small adel clamps in lieu of those plastic clips.

Yes, you'd have to use a short self-tapping screw or something. That is the main reason I hadn't actually gone through with it.

 

I went ahead & ordered the one in the 4th link, local seller, should arrive in a day or two.

 

So here they are, i think they'll work. Certainly better than what i have now. I'll take a pic when its installed.

Ok, here they are.Fit is pretty good, i did have to spread the little arms that keep it from falling out, but they seem to be holding on w/out issue.

i ordered the 4th option you also bought on ebay. Should i just break them off from where they meet the hole or were you able to reach them with long pliers to try and pull them off?

 

I tried removing em, but to no avail. I just couldnt grip those two little legs so i just broke them off.

 

yea last think i wanted to do is have to mess with the tonneau piece . so glad you guided me to your thread 🥳 ill post pics of how mines turns out lol. The hawks piece i bought didnt come with the hardware for the latch handle end so i was just going to use the one the car has and slide the new cable in. Instead of bolts it uses some kind of nut that slices onto the plastic “bolt” looking things and holds on that way. Do you know the name for those?

 

I think they're called speed nuts. Same type as used on gfx, hood blisters, door handles if you know what those look like.

Ive seen them at parts stores before, not sure on the size though. Maybe 10 or 12mm.

 

This thread reminded me of the caps that cover the spoiler 12mm nuts. Caps have "niagara" and "413" stamped on the underside. So i typed that into ebays search eng and got this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/253945599833 Just ordered them, will see what i get soon.

Did some repairs to the TBL mounts while i had the spoiler off.

 

I used these to secure my cable.They hold the hood release cable in place on the 1996-2000 Honda civics.Very easy to remove as the prongs protrude upwards on the upper rad support and are totally accessible.I have a ton of them that I snagged from the junkyards

That is funny....lol.I had a daily driver 96 civic ex 5 speed coupe for 19 years so I always looked them over in the junkyards for spare parts.Thats how I discovered these clips

 

They look identical to the ASC ones, just white. I came across these looking for the type i bought the first time. Dont need em, just wanted to see how close they'd be to the original ones.

 

So here they are, i also found black ones that look identical to the white part, cable hole is slightly smaller. Link below and i still cant find my first order.
