Tinting a Vert

What have you guys done as far as tinting a covertible. Does it look stupid if you tint the sides and leave the plastic rear window alone?

I believe that’s all you can do is tint the side windows and of course not the plastic. I know some vert owners have the rear glass window which is custom and they had it tinted. But overall It doesn’t look stupid if you only tint the sides that’s what I did!

I did the tint so long ago I don’t remember the %. They’re pretty dark. But I rarely drive my car at night so it didn’t matter much to me. Plus you will have light coming in from the rear window even at night I’m sure.

Re: Tinting a Vert

I have never tinted any of my convertibles over the years, as it looks silly without the back window done, IMO.

Re: Tinting a Vert

If my convertible top is up it is raining so no one would notice, but my rear is glass and not tinted.

I don't think I ever have the top up at night! Here is your 15% on the sides and no back. The rear window is small and with a black top I don't think it looks bad at all. I bought my car with the windows tinted.
