What happens if you plug off the outlet line off the heater but leave inlet connected
I bought a griffin 31X19 aluminum radiator for the camaro to fix the overheating problem, which worked, but I just plugged the extra line that was supposed to go into the radiator, even though there is still a line going into the heater that is connected. Will the heater blow up or something if I leave it like this? I was thinking maybe I should plug it but.......................she would kill me if I deleted the heater on her car.

Hahaha, you have the exact opposite problem as me dude.
My guess it seeing as how you pluged the "out" and left the in connected, the coolant has knowhere to go, so it could go boom. But I think coolant goes through the heater core only if the heat is on, so you might be safe there. why dont you bypass the heater core until winter? she can still use A/C.
I am having a problem with the heater core out, it is still getting coolant in the heater core so my passenger side floor has a nice puddle of coolant

Just connect that heater line to the top of the water pump using a threaded pipe adapter.

Doubtful the core will pop, but who knows. Set it up like the post before me. That's how mine is, and how is should be hooked up if you don't have a radiator return.

hey guys the water pump on her camaro doesn't have any NPT outlets. I deleted the heater. She's gonna be pissed!

If you have a serpentine system, you're correct, the factory water pump does not have any NPT outlets.
However, Stewart makes serpentine water pumps, and their's DO have the NPT outlet. I know, I have one on my car (Stage II Aluminum) since I swapped over to serpentine. The original picture is old and shows my car with v-belts, but the heater hoses are STILL routed EXACTLY the same way.
The Stewart Stage I pump has the outlet as well since that's what my friend has in his '92 RS.
If you want a heater that works, just get a stewart pump. You probably need a new pump anyway, right?

Yeah, I guess the factory must have used different water pump housings and just assembled the internals for the serpentine or v-belt setup. I'm just wondering, since Stewart uses the stock housings to make their Stage 1 pumps, Do some of their pumps come without the NPT outlet and some with it?

Possibly. Maybe some cars with serpentine used the water outlet there, I don't know. They aren't using old V-belt pumps because those have extra bosses cast into them for bolting brackets to them.
