radiator drain plug

radiator drain plug

i'm having trouble locating the radiator drain plug can anyone help?

Axle/Gears: 3.42
If your standing in front of the car, look down to your left at the very bottom. It is usually located on the bottom of the radiator on the passanger side. Usually under the hose that goes to the water pump.

Also, if you can't find it still or you can't get it open, just pull the lower radiator hose off and use that to drain it.

How often do i have to replace the radiator fluid??? when i looked last time the fluid was nice and green, havent replaced for years........is this ok or should i replace?

take off the radiator cap and look inside, if you see rust or any kind of build-up its time to flush your whole system, you can find a plastic valve for doing this at any autozone or similer place.
