Online you pay too much shipping!

Go to your local GM dealership and buy one straight from them. I paid less than $30.00 for mine.

I made the dam up in two components, a master and slave. The slave is the part that angles towards the front, and is attached to the master. So, if the slave gets whacked I just replace that bit..in theory. In practice, if it gets whacked real bad I have to replace the whole lot.

In temp. terms running without the air dam at highway speeds the regular temp. switch kept things in control, switching in and out from 220-195. With the air dam, in ambient temps of around 85-90 (yes, even in the UK), the temp never gets above the notch between 0 and 220, whatever that temp is.

Also got me a manual fan switch for town work.. :lala:

buy from gmpartsdirect.com their the best prices and same stuff you get from dealer only thing is it takes like 2 weeks for it arrive at your door.... but I once killed tv cable for my bird and dealer wanted 43 bucks+ shipping + wait for them to get the part... I ordered partsdirect and I got it for 28 bucks shipped to my house(took 2 weeks, but dealer usually loses my parts anyways).

I'll try to get part number for ya later today if not I'll post it tomorrow.
