just put an open element air filter assembely on it, and your better off this way, the air may be hotter but their will be much more air coming in

I did a quazi-cold air intake... it's not completely CAI because it's not seperated from the engine bay heat but it is away from the engine where cooler air is. 90 degree PVC elbow, 45 degree PVC elbow, and some PVC straight pipe, 3" diameter, $25 Autozone Special filter.
Seems like I post this pic every other day, I hope people aren't getting too tired of seeing it...

this is the second post of urs i have closed d_hamp .... if u would at least say what engine\intake you had i could transfer this to the appropiate forum.. and people would be able to help u out better..
