how do I make manuel fan switch?

I want to put a switch inside my car so that I can turn on the cooling fans when the car is off so I can cool it down at the track, does anyone have any directions on doing this?

Thanks in advance

hey camarokid, this is how i did it. take out your cd player and pull all the wires out from behind it, locate the wire for your air conditioning, i think it is orange, splice a wire into it, hook the other end to a switch, then ground the switch and walla! you should be able to turn your fans on whenever you want to, otherwise they will turn on normaly

two ways to go about it. first up by the headlight pass side is the one of the fan relays. the gree/white wire is the ground wire. slipie another wire into that one. then ground it...directly above the relay is a screw into the frame of the car where it can be grounded. this methid will have fan on all the time.

the other way you could do it is, the wire you spliced and grounded; instead of grounding it under the hood, run it inside the car to a switch.then ground the switch. this will allow you to manualy control it.

i did this last weekend, took like 10 mins 15 tops.
