Leaking coolant, but
it only happens when it is cold outside. Very, very, very rarely it will do it when warm out, maybe once all year, til winter. Then it gets cold out, it leaks sometimes. A puddle maybe about a 6" radious. It's up front, pass side, almost right under the radiator. I've checked all the hoses and had the one from the radiator to the heater core replaced as well as the one from the hc to the radiator replaced at the same time. I know there is another hose on that side, a bigger one, haven't replaced it, but the leak doesn't seem to come from up that high. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

ok i have to say this just so you dont get stranded like me.. if you havent done so yet replace your Heater Diverter valve (heater control valve) it may have a small leak in it and it could be signs tha tsomething bad is soon toi happen. second, i just had to replace my radiator because of a hairline couldnt pinpoint. if yours is the same its an easy replacement it took me 20 minutes. either way check both!

Wouldnt that be further back? the heater takes warm water right from the water pump doesnt it?

Jack up the car, let it run with the heater on and see where it's comming from............i'm thinking it's the cap also though.......

i agree i think its the cap but replace the Heater Divereter vbalve just in case, if you havent already, it looks like a mushroom with three hoses going to it. its near the front of the engine on the passenger side.
