Both fans....

Should come on when the AC is on, right? I have yet to see my pass side fan come on even though my car runs really hot.

I have to drive around with the defrost on to keep it at operating temp unless I'm cruising down the highway.

yeah the pass. side fan should come on when the a/c is on.

i would test to see if the motor works itself, and then work from there..

it could be the a/c doesnt have enough charge to make the switch in the a/c to work, that was a case for me.. but since its still getting hot and not turning on i would think the fan switch in the head which grounds the relay at like 238 is not working and needs to be replaced..
