electric fan switch

I bought a new switch for my electric fan because I thought it might not be turning the fan on. I can't find it on the engine and I can't find it in my chiltons. Does anyone know where it might be in my '86 Z28?

If it has one, it is in the pass. side head, between #6 and #8 exhaust ports, you can see it from under the car

the fan switch is toword the rear of the pass head, the sensor at the front of the drivers side head is for the gauge

i'M A dumba$$ AGAIN!!!!

I installed the fan switch in the temp gauge sender's place. So now I took it out and put the temp unit back in. And installed the fan switch in the passenger side between the last two cylinders. It won't even get above 18 now WWAAAAHHHHOOOOOO

PS, It was a PAIN IN THE **** to install the fan switch, let me say it again PITA!!!!!!
