Fan switch or no fan switch......which t-stat to use?
i did a search on this...but didnt find what i was looking for. I have a 160' t-stat in her now...and i went out and got myself a fan switch...the kind that threads into the passenger side block. Problem is i dont have access to a lift....and if the stock one breaks in the block i will be royally fudged. Ive heard people say to change the t-stat and put a 180' in her that way the coolant will be equal with the fans. Any input on this.

check out willie's article in the cooling section of the tech articles, offers a very good in depth description of how to set up your cooling system.
