Hairline Crack in radiator
I have a hairline crack about an inch long at the top of my radiator on the drivers side. A little bit of fluid ****** out from it but nothing big. Can this be patched up with some kind of a sealant or should I just replace the entire core? Thanks for the advice.

can should and prefer are all diffrent things.
you COULD scrub the area clean and epoxy over it.
you SHOULD have a radaitor shop look at it and possibly braze over it.
athough i would PREFER to replace the entire thing.. (aftermarket alum is great)

I appreciate the advice guys, thanks. I'll probably end up getting a new radiator so I dont have major problems in the future.

You could prolly get the tank replaced at a rad shop for 30 bux or so.

this does work great on a pinhole radiator leak.... i used it on the spitfire about 4 years ago and it hasnt leaked a drop since.
however, it doesnt work for anything other then a pinhole leak... so it wont help too much with a crack.
