Big Problems electirc fans (wrecked car)

okay.. this is really hard to explain, because i really don't know that much about the electrical system for these dual fans.. but i know that mine is hacked up, and I am getting frustrated, so here's my story.
First..
here's a picture of the plug for the fan relay..
as you can see. someone spliced in a brown wire, and i have no idea why it is there, but i know it's not supposed to be... I'm guessing it was used to bypass a fuse, or maybe that orange wire is bad? Tell me if i'm right, but i think that this is for the power all the time.... Well, I have no idea where the black and white one goes.. i'm guessing it's a ground.. The tan and white one.. i have one that is hooked up to the one crappy pulg i have left for the fans.. and i guess that the smaller orange one comes from the positive end of the battery terminal?

finally

this one is also off the positive terminal... i was just wondering if it has anything to do with the fan, and if not, what is it for? I have all the wiring for this stuff on my 87 parts car, but this is an 86.. they both are tpi, and have air conditiong stock.. I would greatly appreciate anything that you have to say, because this is the only thing that is holding me up from being able to put the rest of my motor together.. thanks so much for listening
