Engine: 350 L98
Transmission: 700 r4
Temporary head gasket fix? help!
I got an 88 GTa notchback burning coolant.. white smoke.. you guys know the deal of blown head gasket.. is there ant stop leak product that would give me somemore time before i would have to replace the gasket?

Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
just do the head gasket. Any stop leak is gonna cause more harm then good.

my buddy built a cutlass that blew a gasket every week, so the moron welded the head to the block LOL

Yes, it's called sodium silicate it is a product labled as a block sealer and is usually mixed with metal fillings to help fill the holes. It turns to glass when it drys. It's a very interesting product and I have seen it used at trade shows but I havent tested it in real life. Heres a link to one of the products cheezy web site but its basicly the same info.
