leaking SBC

Just got my hands on a camaro. The engine needed some work. After working on it and getting it ready to start, i put some cooling fluid and it all started leaking out. it was dripping off the bottom of the timing chain cover onto the crossmember onto the ground. Does anybody know if this is a leaking freeze plug? Been raining like the monsoons and so haven't had the chance to check'em out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What kind of work? coolant coming from the front is usually from the water pump.
