Condenser Swap???

I'm guessing my condenser is seized in my 85, but a guy from work has one from an 89 S10 Blazer...he's a mechanic and said if they looked enough alike in comparison then I should be able to change the assembly and use it. I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with it and if you think it can be done, thanks.

Car: 89 Formula, WS6
Engine: LB9/peanut cam :(
Transmission: 700R4
It will work.

It may even work better. Typically, the truck compressors have a slightly smaller drive pulley, which will increase your compressor rpm.

keep in mind though that the 89 blazer will have a serpentine belt clutch assembly on the compressor, compared to your v-belt 85 camaro.. You'll need to change the clutch assemblies out.
