How far can you trim your airdam???

Yes, how far can you trim it and maintain it functional?? I am sick and afraid of scraping the dam. I had it for two days and already scraped about 100 times. Its insidious.
Please help??

At the rate you are going the Air Dam will trim itself to a correct height.

Thats funny. I did actually think about that.
However, when I look at it, it still looks brand new, very little signs of wear. Its crazy, I dont mind scraping it as long as it doesnt fall off.
I am thinking of putting a chain through it, just in case I hit something big, so I can still have it and not loose it.
What do you guys think??

Is it true that camaros with grilles have easier time with overheating??
I have the front bumper of a camaro with grilles and three slots on top for air and they would fit my bird. Do you think its a good idea to do that, or will it look funny, a bird with a maro front???

I can always paint it black and call it ..../am???

(my car is a pro/am, so I guess that would work)

Don't worry about hitting anything with the air dam. Just be careful on steep driveway entrances and speed bumps. It was not designed to damage very easy. Still running my original one after 17yrs and it does scrape on occasions. Also I don't drive on rutted dirt roads.

with a lowered car, you can usually cut a inch or two off without any bad effect on cooling...

i wouldnt cut it on a stock height car..

be aware though, the shorter it is, the stiffer it is.

if you look at it from the size, you'll see some cuts in the edge "ribs" that let it flex.

if you cut above thoes, you may want to make new cuts so it has more "give" to it as it hits things.

and now, i shall use a "laser" to distroy the world... muahahahahahahaha!
