Water pump ?

I have searched and couldnt find the answer (though I'm sure I'm just looking in all the wrong places ).

I want to get an aftermarket water pump....

I have the original 1986 LG4 V-belts setup....

is this clockwise, or CCW rotation?

do I need a long snout, or a short snout?

Thanks!

(I'm looking to go with a Stewart pump)

I have an 86 camaro, with a swapped engine. How do I tell what replacement water pump I need? I'm thinking I need a long snout.

mine has both a v belt and a 5 groove serpentine pulley on it. The water pump and alternator run off the serpentine crank pulley and the power steering pump runs off of a v belt.

Hi,

Water pump V belt clockwise. Long style.

Full serpentine counterclock. Long style.

My 87 Iroc was the same and switched over to 89 configuration

and had to get new PS pump,Alt and WP. Went with the AC

delete bracket and Serp pulley.
