Over Heating

Over Heating

I'm havin a hell of a time with this one car I changed the radiator the waterpump, thermostate, radiator cap , and its timed right. But after all that the **** still overheats it goes above 220 but not all the way pined. It olny get hot when I'm on the thruway or roads over 45. and also when I give it heavy gas. Can Anyone give me some pointers cuz i'm all out of Ideas I even changes the fans to one big one Instead of the two but nope still overheats.
HELP PLEASE

Axle/Gears: huh?? guessing stock.
do you have the air dam installed? at speed that is what diverts air from under the car through the rad. with out it, or if it is damaged you will get HOT when at speed.

New one is only like 20-40 at the dealership.

Well how does the drive belt look?? It could be slipping and not letting the water pump function properly! You may also try flushing your cooling system and refilling to see if that might help. Do you have your air dam installed?? Just a couple thoughts.

Its a 86 TPI. The belt seems fine no slipping I flushed it too.

Look at the emmissions tag under the hood. anywhere from 0-6 BTDC.

The car used to be a 6cyl and the hood is diffrent and no tag

do you have the single or duel fans. i was having an overheating problem with mine also and was told to switch to the single fan set up and it solved all my overheating problems.

I had the dual fans but switched it to the single still no change. i'm gonna check the timing again.
