how come everybody wants a remote switch to run thier fan? why cant you guys simply bypass the relay which lets the fan come on when you turn the ign to the ON position, no switch needed and no need to remember to turn it on or off.

It takes longer for your car to get to operating temperature. Constantly running the fan when not needed is a waste of power, and it decreases the life of the fan.

You want complete control over the fan. ON when it's needed. OFF when it's not. I it is a really hot day i like to let my fan run for a few minutes after i park the car. If it is wired to ignition, you can't do that.
