a/c system issues...

i discharged my a/c and vaccuumed it down then put 24oz of 134a in it... it was blowing cool but i didnt have another can so i left it off till today when i could get another 12oz of refrigerant.
with the compressor running it was at 24lbs of pressure on the low side with two cans of refrigerant in. now 3 days later i checked it before i put the last can in and with the compressor running its up to 46lbs on the low side and with the compressor off it goes up to 150...
what could cause the pressure on the low side to double like that without putting in more refrigerant?
I dont have the money to have a mechanic look at it but i live in texas and my window motors are out so i need my a/c...

forgot to mention... compressor sounds kinda fugged too it makes a rattling noise. could that cause higher pressure readings?

I get some very strange sounds coming from the engine compartment when my air is turned on also. I can`t tell if it is coming from the compressor or the fan or what. My next project, upgrade the air, still original.

Re: a/c system issues...

if it's free take it, and then try to figure out if it fits, if doesn't sell it and buy new one for third gen
i am 70% sure that it is not going to fit tho
