92 L98 overheating.
92 L98 overheating.
Yes I know search search, and search.
I searched and didnt find my answer. The A/C in my Z was removed. If its 75* or so its all good but higher and the temp peaks at 260*ish. Again A/C was removed but the fan is still there. I obviously get one fan that kicks on. IIRC the 2ndary fan is programmed to kick on at 248*?
I can jumper the secondary to the primary from the relays but I dont want to energize a + wire in the loop.
Im asking for a correct way to engage my 2ndary A/C fan to kick on when my primary fan does sans A/C.
TIA

Re: 92 L98 overheating.
your primary fan is the one that is supposed to engage at 237, not 248. you should change out the fan switch in the head to a cooler temp switch, like 200 on/185 off. secondly, since your a/c is gone, an easy way to energize that 2nd fan is by grounding that other relay with a switch inline. then you can just switch it on/off, if you end up with a need to use it, but the fan switch should be the first thing to swap out. my opinion, of course...
