are the 3rd gen f body ac delete boxs the same as the 82-94 s 10 delete box or do they need to be modified? any help would be great

 

No, the S-10 boxes need to be modified. I considered going this route with mine a few years ago (bought an S-10 box and everything), but I ended up finding a proper Camaro box... Unfortunately, I don't recall specifically what the issues were, or how easy/difficult they would have been to address.

EDIT:
I did some searching around for you, and it seems to be the general consensus that there does have to be some fabrication done to the S-10 box, like adding some metal. Here's a link to one thread that had a decent amount of discussion in it regarding the S-10 box...
