Re: OMG NEED HELP FAST!!!

replace the hose, and the clamps. fill it with more antifreeze/water, get the air out of the system. Your gauge is doing what its supposed to, so is the fan.

Re: OMG NEED HELP FAST!!!

I made the mistake when I replaced the radiator hoses to only use a screwdriver to tighten the clamps. One of the hoses came off the next day. You need to get a socket on there and tighten it. It's surprising how much more tight it will go with the socket compared to a screwdriver.

Coolant gauge not working? Hmmm Maybe the coolant temp sensor in the front of the block got splashed with boiling coolant? Don't know how to solve that one.

Any car will overheat with a hose off. Doesn't matter how good the cooling system is.

To get the bubbles out. Start the car cold and leave the radiator cap off. Let it warm up to around 100°F (2 minutes or so?) As the fluid in the radiator drops, add more coolant. May help to have somebody gently raise the throttle a bit while you're pouring into the radiator. After that it will be very full. Bubbles should be a thing of the past.
