Temperature sensor between the 6th and 8th cylinders on the passenger side of the engine block. That SHOULD cure your problem.

If the fan is not coming on with the a/c, I'd check the fan by applying 12v directly to it - the fans should run with a/c regardless of the temp of the coolant.

Re: temp send unit / fans

test with 12V directly to fan first to make sure its still good,

if it is good then your Fan switch would be on the Pass side between 6 and 8 as stated above

your temp sending unit is irrelevant because its sole purpose is to drive the temp gauge in the car, and that is located on driver side between 1 and 3

just wanted to clear up what everything was so if you go to a part store you end up with the right part and not something you dont need

im gonna bet its either a dead fan motor, wire short,Relay, or a bad ground and not the sensor seeing as it does not turn on with the AC at all

Re: temp send unit / fans

it shouldnt, i had a buddy that had a 305 TPI and he ripped his AC out all together and his fan still came on when it was suppose to, dont know if he had to ground a wire or not though
