Re: Fan switch

The one I had in my 1987 Camaro 2.8 v6 looked like that one above and came on around 215-220 and off around 180ish. Don't know the part number but it could be looked up easy enough. Just don't buy it from Kragen or AutoZone. Theirs are junk and don't kick the fan on at all. The good one I had in it came from OReillys.

Re: Fan switch

Buy GM and you'll get a part built to spec.

Re: Fan switch

Rockauto.com -> part number search -> D1855B ->ACDelco -> Search -> $17.65

AutoZone.com -> Product Search -> D1855B -> Go -> Cross Reference -> Duralast / Cooling Fan Switch - Radiator Part Number:SW505 $8.99
OEM Number: 14043275

All aftermarkets come from the same china sweat shop (for the most part), it's luck of the draw for the working one, not where you bought it at.
