A/C Delete? Newb Q's
Well pretty much heres the thing, I know its possible but I have some questions.
I might do a AC delete in the future (maybe later this year) but some things I am wondering about. First of all what would be needed? The A/c delete pulley & delete box? What else? Second is, I always wondered is if the Heater would go away with it?
I know it sounds dumb but I always wondered. My Camaro is a T-top car and with good weatherstripping and rust work I feel myself taking them off when I can when it is done. So leaving the A/C to be useless.
If anyone can provide any info that would be great!

the heat will still work.
A/c delete box and pulley is needed. If yours was 89 or older I have everything not sure about 92 though but the 89 and earlier used a different dash (only had center vents the rest were blocked off from the factory)and had pull cables for the vents instead of a vacuum setup behind the dash.

I deleted A/C in my 1992 - as stated need the delete pulley and a A/C delete box. You can take the resistor pack off your existing heater box and replace into the new A/C delete box (alot of them don't come with the resistor pack). Heater will work fine. I didn't need the A/C delete pulley because I got rid of the serp pulley brackets at the same time, swapped alternator to pass side, and went to a 1/2 serp 1/2 v-belt setup.

I have an AC delete box for sale, and the dash trim parts without the side AC vents.

Sounds good, So my next question would be about the quality in some of the pulleys. I see on fleabay theres a mix of em and all ranging from $30 to $80 and Autozone carrys one for $30. Would you guys recommend those? What would be the problem with getting the more inexpensive ones? Breaking? Cheap quality?

They are fine use the autozone one I don't care for most of there stuff but the pulley was made the same as the gm piece.
