Edelbrock Water Pump

I have an 87 Iroc..350/TPI...heavily modified...aluminum heads...vortech supercharger..

I want to upgrade my stock water pump to an Edelbrock high flow aluminum...

Which one (part #) do I need? I have searched summitracing and this site but there are a few choices.

Thanks

Re: Edelbrock Water Pump

go with a stewart pump. They are probably the best one's for our cars

Re: Edelbrock Water Pump

you will need a reverse rotation long style pump. Just look on edelbrocks site.

Re: Edelbrock Water Pump

87 was still the vbelt/serp combo system, if you have or have switched to the 88+ serpentine system, you want water pump part number 8881

Re: Edelbrock Water Pump

'87 was still the standard rotation V-belt system, and the Edelbrock pump is #8811.

Edit: here's the link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-8811/

I have an edelbrock water pump on my car and it's been fine. It's the high flow model and i'm running under drive pulleys.

Can I ask why you think you need a water pump?
