What are you trying to cool? Stock motor? Gonna race? What kind of climate in your area?

The stock single fan will be more than adequate.

Re: rad/fan combo

My stock single fan without a shroud(stock) and a stock radiator keep my engine cool. And mine makes more power than you are estimating. And I live in Phoenix. All I used was a good water pump, 170* thermostat, and a fan switch that turned on the fan at 200* and off at 185*.

Stock radiator in good condition is fine too for your application.

Re: rad/fan combo

I have the 3 core aluminum radiator from Champion with their dual fan and shroud setup. I'm very pleased with the radiator. It does require some modification to set it, but nothing that hasn't been addressed before.

I'm not very keen with the fans though. I have my run with Painless Performance relays but they don't seem to spin very fast. With the dual fans and shroud the car won't run below 220 degrees, and that's with a 180 thermostat.

My timing isn't set perfect, so that may very well be the case for running very warm. Over all though, I highly recommend Champion's products.
